Ecclesiastes 12:14

¹⁴For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.          

Someone said that when the wheel of life rolls, you will be at the top or at the bottom. Some poverty-stricken individuals may think that the wheel of their life is flat and not moving while powerful and prosperous individuals can be foolish also to think that they will always be at the top over anybody else. It has been warned that the higher you could be, the painful it hurts when you fall down. It is wise to remember that we do not hold the future. Anything can happen anytime anywhere. Life on earth is temporary, success or failure included. Everything that we do, hidden or well-known, will be rewarded or have consequence, for sure.

Someone who was very powerful died and her life is celebrated by millions of concerned individuals. Another powerful ruler somewhere around the globe executed his worst decision, and millions of people around the world are not very happy and even curse him perhaps. Still silently and without much recognition, an unknown person patiently ventures regularly on what he thinks as best endeavor for humanitarian benefits.

Can you sincerely accept that God will reward all good things we do and punish every evil deed of humans? Our approach to life may practically exhibit our mindset toward eternal judgment of God. It says in Philippians 3:18-21, ¹⁸Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. ¹⁹ Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. ²⁰But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. The Lord reveals eternal secret, if it helps us live worthy to be called citizens of heaven.

Lord Jesus, help have a lifestyle worthy of eternal reward.
