Psalm 10:15

15Break the arm of the wicked man;   call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out.

Did King David curse the wicked man in this passage? He declared punishment that the Lord calls the wicked man to account for his evil deeds. The Lord won’t ignore wickedness, even secretive things. It would not be surprising; it is a prayer of law-abiding citizen for the Lord to break the arms of bad element in the society. Do you believe that the Lord had already decreed punishment for wickedness? Yet God allows wicked people to continue propagating their wickedness. Evil doers assume that there is no God who would call them into account for their wickedness. Christ declared in Revelation 22:11-12, 11Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy. 12Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.

The return of Christ is imminent. Who one knows? It may happen during our lifetime. We have to continue doing what he prescribed us to do. Time is very limited. We have to be more intentional in storing up eternal treasures for ourselves. Could the confusion surrounding Israel be practical sign of the warning of Christ in Luke 21:19-20? 19Stand firm, and you will win life. 20When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.

Christ may return sooner or after our time on earth expired. It is very smart to be more deliberate in doing our mission purposes. The Lord designed our mission purpose as privilege for us to explore fullness of life that he had prepared for obedient believers. Prayerfully explore your God-given mission purpose and explore fullness of your life.

Lord Jesus help me explore my mission purposes
