Praise
Psalm 8:2
2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghol against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
Reflect on what it narrated in Matthew 21:14-16, 14 The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant. 16 “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”
Without any hesitation, children can easily praise anything that may amuse them, but for children to praise the Lord, this is biblically recorded. When children sing praises to the Lord, everyone, young and old appreciates it, not just their parents. We have observe this reality anywhere, especially, inside the church building. How do you interpret what it narrated in Luke 18:16-17, 16Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
Many churches give emphasis on kid’s ministry. Truly, children deserve careful attention. Can you accept that God wants us to learn how children trust him without any provocative argument? Most often, adults are very hesitant to believe, why? Overtime, adults have collected many confusing views that cause them to complicate their belief instead of simply trusting the Lord by faith. When Christ mandated us to witness for him, sometimes, it result to intense argument of who is right. We wait for empowerment from the Lord; we witness for Christ with gladness of heart then, we certainly praise and thank him as a result.
Lord Jesus, empower me to witness for you.
