  Psalm 18:3

3I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.

Have you been concerned about your future career? Are you concerned about you future lifetime partner? Future career and lifetime partner had been undeniable concerned of young adults. Certainly, they want to have better life experiences. They wish to have great stories to tell the next generation. Such concern should spark motivation on how make them a reality and not just remain as concern.

Someone said, “Instead of being concerned that you have no office, be concerned and think how you may fit yourself for office. Instead of being concerned that you are not known, seek to be worthy of being known.” So how should you train to fit for your dream career or prepare for a lifetime partner? Proverbs 3:5-7 says, 5Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 7Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.

You may pray like, “Lord God, fill me with you Holy Spirit and guide me which practical steps I should take to prepare for the career you want me to excel.” And, God gives ideas that you can practically do but may even sound simple. When you sense joyful peace from the Holy Spirit, proceed and never doubt that you took the right path.

It teaches in Proverbs 19:14, 14Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord. It particularly mentioned prudent wife is from the Lord, but could we interpret also that prudent husband is also from the Lord? Certainly, biblical marriage between husband and wife is ordained by the Lord. And if you are praying for a spouse, you prefer a prudent, smart, discreet and sensible person, then you will know that it’s the Lord’s answer to your prayer.

Lord Jesus, bless our young adults to choose a glorious path you designed for them and a lifetime partner you want to serve you with them.
