Psalm 18:9

⁹He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.

When it declares “came down and dark clouds were under his feet” heaven is suggested to be above where God came from. Heaven is beyond clouds above the earth. Heaven where God came from must be exceptional realm as compared to natural earth below the clouds. Heaven has amazing features that ordinary mankind cannot comprehend. We may have little idea about heaven but we can never completely imagine heaven until Jesus Christ our Lord takes us into heaven.

Jesus Christ declared in John 6:37-40, ³⁷All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. ³⁸For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. ³⁹And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. ⁴⁰For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

Heaven is very interesting topic to talk about but since heaven is beyond human comprehension, we can never come up with conclusive interpretation. God designed that only believers of Christ will have the privilege to see, appreciate and experience the everlasting adventures in heaven. God the Father elected us to trust Jesus Christ and have eternal life. We are warned in 2 Peter 1:10-11, ¹⁰Make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, ¹¹and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How strong do you believe that when Christ returns, he takes you into heaven? Obedience to the Lord practically proves that we trust his plan for our eternal residency. Read the Scripture to know the plans of the Lord for you personally. Lord Jesus increase my faith in you.
