Psalm 14:2

²The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

God does not reward anyone by random. He observes everyone who deserves to be rewarded or not yet.

Dashcam recording should remind us that God is recording meticulously our activities wherever we are. Dashcam or a video camera mounted on the dashboard or windshield of a vehicle is a very handy source of evidence, especially during accidents. Dishonest individuals intentionally cause accidents to collect money from insurance companies. There are also other undesirable activities of unscrupulous group of people like carnapping, and dashcam records may help investigation. Someone said that carnappers are daring and bolder than ever. At one time, he was driving on a freeway when suddenly a pickup truck overtook him and stopped right in front of him. He almost hit the pickup truck. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck came out of the vehicle, but he said, “I just speed away! That was a kind of strategy where carnappers cause accident, and when you get out of your car, someone will drive your car away. You’ve got to be alert.”

Reflect on what it declares in Deuteronomy 25:16, ¹⁶For the Lord your God detests anyone who does these things, anyone who deals dishonestly.  Dishonesty may offer temporal profit, but dishonesty attracts the curse of the Lord. Somewhere in Asia, market vendors use dishonest weighing scales. But for the many years of dishonest business transaction, their life became even worse. In comparison, honest business transactions grow their business surprisingly because God blesses the work honest workers. Truly, the Lord looks down from heaven and observes honest individuals who deserve to be blessed, and the dishonest deserves otherwise.

Lord Jesus, help me be honest in all I do.
